Olivewood Cemetery has now been recognized by UNESCO as a significant historic site of memory and has been added to their Slave Route Project, an international registry.
This past week, Ms. Margott Williams and Mr. Charles Cook were honored by the Texas Daughters of the American Revolution for their hard work preserving Olivewood Cemetery.
Olivewood Cemetery will be open for Community Day on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 9:00am to 3:00pm
